The following is the hottest thing on the Internet and on Fox News today. Lizzie Palmer who put this YouTube program together is 15 years old. There have been over 3,000,000 hits as of this morning. In case you missed it, here it is. It's worth watching!

A wonderful msg. that deserves watching. Thank you. I'm from a strong military family (many generations of career-ists) and most of the women worked for the military in civilian capacity. It's a wonderful life...would take a book to describe.

May those who have lost loved ones in this or any previous conflict have the peace that passes all understanding, and may the rest of us never forget. My late husband was shot in the back after landing on Omaha Beach in WWII, and carried a large piece of schrapnel in his lung for the rest of his life. It caused heart and breathing problems and completely disabled him for his last five years. He never complained, but always said that somebody has to do it, (meaning defend our country).

Thanks also to YOU and the other military spouses and family. They also serve in their own way. You too have sacrificed, no not in the field but in the uncertainty of what will happen. Most cheerfully, some not. BUT let us not forget the men, women and children who are affected.
Thanks to your late husband...but thanks to YOU, for without knowing that YOU were "keeping the home fires burning...while (your) hearts were yearning..."
WE (my fellow vets, both here and gone) could not have gone "over there" and done what needed to be done.....then AND now

I am grateful to all the military for defending our freedom and those veterans who fought and who died to give us that freedom. I am especially grateful for my paternal grandfather who lost his legs in WW1, my father who lost most of his fingers in WW11. My father in law who flew 52 bombing missions and earned the DFC twice - one presented to him by Jimmy Doolittle. My husband who served 22.1/2 years in the USAF. PAW and all other veterans on this board.
Memorial Day I used to go to a small town in Arcadia, Fl for a memorial service for the 23 Royal Air Force Cadets who died while training at US flying fields in S. Florida during WW11. Was always a beautiful, moving service, peaceful -except during the "Missing man formation"" flyover. Haven't been able to attend for a few years now. But you stand there during the service and you can just "see" those young men forever young.
