World Savings Bank - 2 loans - 620 pages!
This set a record for the number of pages that I have had in a loan package. The first was 167 pages and the second was 143 for a total of 620 pages for two copies. I won't do another for them!

They often have the BO's copies included. I found out the hard way.

I learned the hard way one time also. It was broken down in sections and the last section was the borrowers copy.

I was one that also learned the hard way.

And mine was sent w/a print utility that just took off printing w/o being able to view. Then used 2nd printer as docs late, so 2 huge pkgs, 1 no use. Lots of cussing on that one.

Okay, a question for you, obviously you didn't know when you accepted the job how many pages it was going to be. Did you call to get an increase in the print fee? I have been tempted when mine go over say 120 pages, I had one that was 240 (X2), but it was a company that I have dealt with along time and didn't want to ruffle any feathers. However, when I ask 'how many pages' and they respond probably 80-100 I say okay...then I get the package and it is 170, I tell them not to worry about it ~ only because I don't what to lose business, but hey paper costs are going up and 10 pages extra is 10 extra minutes I have to sit with Mr. and Mrs. BO.

Do you charge them less if it's only 50 pages?
To start splitting hairs on package size could lead down a path you may not want to go. In my case, I seem to break even with large and small packages and I view it has part of the game.

World Savings always has the borrowers copies included
Also you have to attach a loose Ack certificate for the Mortgage or Dead of Trust. Their package is actually pretty easy.

Yep, Joan
I love doing WS loans, and figured out they always include the brw's copies in the original doc. Don't give up Lynn! It is just a frustrating lesson.

Re: Yep, Joan
I can remember my first World Savings loan in 2002, when I was first commissioned, and there wasn't a Deed of Trust page to notarize.
I must have looked through that loan package 5 times (in a state of panic) until a light bulb finally went off in my head that I had to attach a loose certifcate.
World now makes it easy and puts this information on the last page so you know you have must attach a loose certificate.
And yep we all have to learn this lesson about World and they are a great company to deal with. Couldn't agree more!!

I agree, also. However, this is an example of where a little bit of communication could go a long way... How hard would it be for someone to add a note in front or in the email with the link or attachment that the borrowers' copies are included? Ah, well. Live and learn...

Re: Yep, Joan
It took me 2 signings before I figured that out b/c I remember there wasn't a borrower copy page to separate the package until sometimes last year. Also, beside the DOT there is a "rider to security instrument and modification" form that also need a loose ack attach.

The borrower cancelled before I made the trip, so I didn't realize the borrower's copy was enclosed.

too many pages
I had one that was a single loan 400pages, borrower copy not included. It was a regular loan, but a out of state property. My mouth dropped open when I saw it.
