Best week in the last 3 months
The past 3 weeks made me feel good, but the last week business has been "normal" between Wednesday and this coming Tuesday I have had 28 appointments and few medical record runs.
I have been out all day thurs, fri and will be out almost all day Tuesday.
I have been lucky its not all from one company.
The last couple of months have been tough for sure, I hope others do well too.

Great for you! I only had one from the past two weeks and NONE this week. I sure hope that it picks up or at least notaries in my area don't accept signings from lowball companies. I am now looking for a job.

Still slow here as well. Only 4 this week, and 1 for next so far.

Carmi, are you a premium member, if not you should consider
it. Have you checked you competition in your area and where you are positioned in the listings. Premium members get called first. Notary Rotary is the site where I've gotten most of my work from and my premium membership has paid for itself many times over.

No, I am not a premium member. I just checked and saw 12 premier members and 25 basic members (including me) only within 5 miles of my zipcode! Do you think it is really worth it with that much competition?

Re: Carmi, are you a premium member, if not you should consi
If you don't mind being the 13th (or lower) person called every time somebody puts in your zip code and changes the default radius from 20 miles to 5 miles then no, I guess it's not worth it. If they don't change the default radius then I hope you don't mind being 26th (or lower) on the list.
It's only worth it if you think that paying for the membership will result in an increase of signings over the course of the year to pay for the membership. In this case it should take a whopping 2 additional signings per year to make it worthwhile.

Re: Carmi, are you a premium member, if not you should consi
If I became a premier member, I will actually be one of the first three in my zip code alone. I will seriously consider it. I just hope that if I do decide to upgrade, it will give me more signings. I only need 6 a week (and that's for the minimum fee) to get by. I don't have to get a job, I can spend more time with my children.
If you don't mind me asking . . . where in California are you?

Re: Carmi, are you a premium member, if not you should consi
Most people who become premiere members on this site get their money back and more within a month or less. I think it took me 2 weeks when I did it 4 years ago. Obviously things are different now, but I simply can't imagine that it won't pay for itself many many times over for you.
I'm in Los Angeles.

Here was my schedule on Friday
1. Riverside jail: an inmate to sign 3 documents (family paid fee)
2. Riverside Community Hospital: (Employee need notarization and I was paid by the company who needed the notarization.)
3. Doctor's office: The doctor needed a doc notarized (paid by doctor).
4. Return Client needed a Health Directive notarized at his business. (Client paid.)
5. Received 1 call to do a loan signing tomorrow (Sat) but I am teaching and could not accept.
6. Received 1 call to do a signing today but they needed a Spanish loan signer and my Spanish isn't good enough. Declined and referred to another notary.
7. Received 2 other calls to do loan signing next week which I accepted.
I made $185 doing public notary work for this Friday. I did 6 loan signings last week.

Re: Here was my schedule on Friday
When I ask people who find me for "public notary work" where they found me on the Internet they never seem to have a clue where they found me.
I think when they find me when they do a Google search for "Notary Riverside CA " I am on the first page.
