Brother Drum DR 350 - do not buy compatible

Only 2,000 pgs printed and it is terminally ill....

Now I am going to Staples to buy the printer again which is only $99 after rebate, costs less than the drum!

2000 pages? That was a defective unit, the seller ought to replace it. Just curious, what is it doing that makes it terminally ill? Where did you buy the drum?
