Good morning! Is everyone ready for the weekend?
Starting to get ready for Thanksgiving around my house. My 91-yr old mom, who lives by herself in Arizona and just got out of the hospital (congestive heart failure) 2 weeks ago, is coming up to Northern California tomorrow to recoup some more, spend the holidays with family. We're hoping we can talk her into staying. Wish us luck!

Re: Good morning! Is everyone ready for the weekend?
I am sooooo ready. My kids are leaving at noon today and won't be back until Sunday. Hallelujah!!!!
I remember when I was younger and my in-laws would take the kids, I would say "let's party hard". Now I say "I can finally sleep". Isn't that funny how we outgrow ourselves.

Re: Great morning, This weekend I am having a birthday...
outing with the Mom and my Daughter. My Mother got tickets to a Shanti Shanti Concert which will be in a Jewish Temple named Emek Shalom. No we are not Jewish. This concert is preformed by 2 girls who were born with the ability to talk and sing sand script. Sand Script being the first know language here on earth. All the women in my family have decided not to give stuff to each other for our birthdays rather we do thing together. My Mom picks the most enjoyable thing to do I am so blessed to have her still in my life. I wish you all a fun weekend too.

JoAnn Do you mean Sanskrit?? While it is one of the oldest languages of the world it wasn't the first known language. I believe Sumerian was the first documented written language (Sumerian Cunieform)
