I grew up with that Big Band Sound and I just love it. My dad had an 18 piece orchestra when I was a kid. Thanks for the memories. I get emotional at times hearing the big bands.

I loved the Big Bands too. Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Les Brown etc.

Every Saturday evening I would go to the local ballroom with friends to dance to the big band orchestra they had there. Memories

You are really making me cry today bringing back wonderful

memories of my father. Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Frank Sinatra. Outstanding muscians. In the Mood was my favorite. My son is in college at Murray State in KY. Murray's marching band did a tribute to the big bands and it was just outstanding. I cried like a baby. My father would have been so proud of his grandson. I know he was watching from above. I'm so grateful that schools keep this music alive today. What some of these kids listen to today is just not music. Thanks for finding this for me.
