I get to sleep till 8-9am tomorrow

My wife and daughter are away for a few days and nothing on the books till Saturday. But you know this business, one phone call could change that.

I'd rather have to get up for an early signing!

The earliest signing I've had was at 6:30 AM. When I called the borrower to confirm a 9:00 AM appointment, he sounded disappointed about something. He'd been told that 9:00 AM was the earliest appointment possible! When I asked him if he'd rather do it ealier, he said "You do'nt want to know what time I'd like to do it." When he was assured that I _did indeed_ want to accomodate _his_ schedule, and that the 9:00 limit was not mine, we settled on 6:30 so that he could go to work on time.

Customer service is what we're about!

You've got me beat...

My earliest so far was 7AM. BO offered me breakfast, but I declined... It was originally scheduled for 6PM the same day, but TC called the day before and said "He'd like to do this a little earlier, if you can." A LITTLE earlier??

It was actually quite nice - I'm not usually up and on the road at that hour, and it was a gorgeous Spring morning.

My earliest was 6:30.

It never bothered me to get up early. I have this alarm clock in my head that normally wakes me up at 6am whether I like it or not. If the borrowers need it signed early and I can make them happy that is what I am here for. I like to accommodate them.

Re: My earliest was 6:30.

I've done several signings before 6AM for borrowers whose lender sent them their docs and they wanted to sign before work. The catch is for that time in the morning they have to come to me.

Scheduling at borrower's convenience - NOT

It floors me how many appointments are scheduled without consulting the borrower. I can't count the number of times the document person, the borrower, and me are all rushing to get docs ready/get to the signing location by 6 pm when everyone involved would have liked 8 pm better. Seems like some lenders just pick a standard time (6 pm seems common) and schedule.
