This Seattle based company owes me $123 for a signing I did on 8-16-07. She (Hope Green) has not paid me. I caution other notaries not to work for these companies unless you want to work for free. Actually, I spent about $45 on copies and didn't even get reimbursed for that.

I would be careful incurring ANY extra expenses for any company. I incurred some extra expense for a company I had worked for several times before. It was 15 minutes worth of internet time at Kinko's. I went the extra mile for this company when it was discovered at appt that we were missing many docs. I couldn't download the docs at Kinko's (said file corrupted) and I drove home 1/2 hour to d/l and print and back to appt again another 1/2 hour. I had worked for the TC several times before and thought I could trust them when they said they would reimburse me for the Kinko's internet time. They didn't. They didn't even offer to pay me extra for the extra time and gas spent going back home and returning to borrower. The Kinko's bill was only a couple of dollars, but it irked me.
