LIA Signing -

Received a call from LIA this morning while sitting in doctor's waiting room (and away from Internet to check on here) for a signing on the 23rd at 4pm. Lucky for me, I was able to honestly say I'd be out of town. After checking 'em out ... boy did I luck out!! Thanks everyone!!

Saturday was the 90th day. I received a partial payment last Tuesday and got a call from Janet at LIA on Wednesday who said she was mailing the balance that day. I received it today.

After getting a check for $25.00, I called and e-mailed. Believe it or not, I got the balance
of my signing and a phone call apologizing.

I also got the phone call apologizing and the rest of my check a week later. I was impressed by the phone call as most of them never respond by phone or email.

I also received a nice phone call and a check for the the balance due me after the $25 check I received last week. Looks like they are trying to get their act together.

Why make partial pmts at all?

I mean most have had to wait, why not pay some in full and call the others and say will be sent out next week or whatever... a partial pmt is not good, as they could say that with you accepting that payment you have been paid in full. Just my opinion... if that counts...

I, too, received full payment yesterday after a nice phone call. With the similarity in names, when you are driving and using a cell phone, you are sometimes surprised to find you misunderstood to whom you were talking. It is too bad we have to keep lists of these companies - and then find out the ones we have enjoyed are also going bottom up.

Simply because they got a nice phone call and eventually got paid after being screwed over?

I sense another flood of "LIA stiffed me" threads in about 90 days.
