Lenders First Choice?

I'm off to do a signing for them -- never worked for them before. Wondered if anyone out there could share any pointers with me about their policies/procedures. (I did a search but don't have time to go through all the old threads). They were very willing to come up on the fee when I told them I wouldn't accept their offer. TIA!

Now that you are back home, you will have the time to go thru them. Otherwise, read their instructions. They cover it all in their instructions to you.

Thanks, but actually, I'm just waiting on the e-docs and instructions now. The appointment was supposed to be at 7:30 and is about 40 mins. away and I wanted to be sure not to miss anything critical in my rush (want to make a good first impression). Smile Good to know the instructions will be thorough though!

I have completed many assignments for them. They are great to work with and pay on time.

Be prepared for lots of fill-in the-blank affs and small spaces to do so. Other than that, no problems.

Pay quickly- decent package not too big but as previous post said some extra notarizations. Good luck!

I worked for them just recently. The instructions are clear. I agree with the small places on the notarizations. Have not been paid yet as the signing was only last week. The were really easy to deal with.

I used to do a lot for them for $ 125.00 dollars per package. Then they lowered to 85.00 then I stopped taking their jobs. One time they called me and offered me 50.00 with e docs!! I asked the scheduler if I was hearing right. I asked her 3 times to verify what she was offering me. And she said yes FIFTY DOLLARS with edocs.

I told her that her fee was very insulting and I told her not to call me anymore with this ridiculous fees.

Sounds like LandAm too. They have called me 3 times in 2 days wanting to know if I would do e-doc signings for $60. I guess some around here have that Wal-Mart philosophy, do 3 to make what they should for 1.

I agree with Cal. They used to pay twice what they are offering now. Evidently, someone doesn't have a problem, or doing this for a hobby, to accept such low fees.

LFC is a great company, but I do know that they require $100,000 E&O to work with them.

I do not have 100,00 in e&O and I just completed one for them last week. They never asked me about it either.

Re: Lenders First Choice? which ones?

I am happy to hear they are good to deal with...But which Lenders First Choice? Do they all deserve the same rep? There are 3 different ones listed in Signing Central. It would be great if everyone would start to use the link button. It is a great feature and helps us all when we want to quickly do research before saying yay or nay...

Re: Lenders First Choice? which ones?

I dealt withe the Mountain Division. That is the one I will vouch for. I have not received payment yet though. Signing was last week, so may still be a couple of weeks

Re: Lenders First Choice? which ones?

They are all the same, they just have different branches, but the checks come from CA, so it does not matter which one you speak of, as they are indeed the same.
