Non paying companies

Can some one please help me out. I just got a call from CA. Notary & document signers company asking me to do a signing for them. I have never worked for them before and i am afraid that I will not get paid. Can some one please let me know if you have worked for them and how well they pay?

I worked for them once...the signer decided not to sign and they paid the full fee within two weeks.
