what history? Fax or docs printed?
My printer keeps reports on all in and out going faxes, I can print the last incoming fax anytime as far as docs printed the log I have is total number of printed pages. (4yr old HP all in one - 900K pages printed and still runs great)
I do have other options, I would need to check my HP Toolbox.

Hi Nancy,
If you are specifically looking to retrieve yesterday's print jobs, you probably can't. Most print logging is turned off by default. However, if you want to log print jobs from now on so you can review prior history, you have two options (I use Windows XP in the following):
1) Turn "logging" on individually by printer by "right clicking" on the printer, select properties, select the "advanced" tab, and check marking the box next to "Keep printed documents". This will save copies of the printed documents that you "spooled" to your printer(s). You can delete parts of the list as you desire. You can review the list by going to your printer folder (not the "print window" and double clicking on the desired printer. You can print the list by making the window "full screen" using the "Prt Scr" key and pasting the image into a printable document (i.e. MS Word).
OR
2) Use a print logging utility. There are many available. I just reviewed a FREE print logger that saves the print job history of all printers connected to your computer. It saves the logs in two formats, one format viewed through your Internet Browser, the other viewed through MS Excel. To review this print logger, just type "PaperCut Print Logger" in a Google search and it should be on the top of your search results or very close to the top. It will show you the features and a "Screenshot" of the report formats.
Hope this helps,
Dennis . . .
