RTC-Signing tomorrow (Saturday)
Doing a CountryWide tomorrow, which is Saturday. Checked with FASS Lender Team and although, recission calendars say the 14th would be the last day to recind, I was told it would be the 15th. She checked and say CountryWide is counting Monday as the Holiday. And no, this is not a $50 signing. I'm getting $100 (no e-docs).

Have a signing today for Countrywide and one for Citibank. After checking with the title companies, they both are counting Monday as a Holiday, so the recission ends 11/14/07.

I can't recall ever doing a Countrywide where they don't have the dates filled in. why would you ever consider changing their paperwork?

I have done a few hundred signings for CW and never seen the dates filled in already.

UPDATE on Recission Dates
Just spoke with my contact on a Countrywide loan and she just received a memo from Countrywide that Monday is now being counted as a business day and the recission for doc's signed today is 11/13 not 11/14. You may want to double check with anyone that stated 11/14 is the recission date for doc's signed today, because 1 hour ago they stated that the recission date is 11/14 for doc's signed today.

Re: UPDATE on Recission Dates
Okay, FASS just called and said CountryWide called (They have been swamped with calls), and said recission is the 14th.

The bottom line is that...
Reg Z requires NO LESS than 3 days to rescind. If the lender can't figure out the rescission calendar and adds an extra day or two before funding, it's their prerogative; even though we know better, who are we to question?. The only time it becomes an issue for us is if they try to reduce the RTC, either by backdating or counting non-business days.
If they put in a date that is beyond what you know (or suspect) to be the correct RTC date, don't worry about it - just consider it a bonus for the borrower, and move on.
