Reverse Mortgages via signingagentplus.com

I just received an e-mail solicitation from them offering a certification course and registration in their data base ... supposedly resulting in more calls for RM's ... for an annual fee of $59. Has this worked for anybody else? I've done lots of RM's in the past and don't particularly need their course, but is there any payback on this hard earned (especially now) investment?

Save your money...this guy is a spammer and a liar.

Do a search here and you will get an eyeful.

If you would like to learn about RMs I recommend that you order the ebook that Brenda Stone has written. It's just $9.95 and is packed full of everything you will need to know. http://texnotary.com/

Look for the instructions on how to purchase the book in my profile. Smile I think the only place I have it correct is on NR.

Brenda's RM book

is the most comprehensive and educational one I have seen for the notary signing agent, because it is geared for the notary signing agent.
And, the most reasonable priced.
I have it myself, it is well worth the purchase price.

If you have money to spare, look my profile and send to me.

I will spend it wisely. I will not give you any benefit other than knowing that it will help a 3yr old to enjoy the day a bit better. I will not call you, I will not email you either, so TIA.

Now - enjoy your day and be happy you saved your money, or gave to a good cause.

Yes, I have been getting the same messages. He purports to have "clients" that will ONLY hire people certified by HIM. If you sign up, take the course, pass it, then you GET LISTED as a Certified Reverse Mortgage signing agent. I have resisted this so far, and like you have done a lot of RM's. I don't particulary need a course. We actually need to talk to someone who has TAKEN the course and then find out what their results have been. If anyone is familiar with the intimate workings of this company, let us know.

If you are considering it, read the Site Agreement -- very carefully.

It's very long. And very tedious to read. But read it thoroughly.

caveat emptor

Good luck.

IMO, it's just a marketing pitch. I'm staying away.
