Statement about Final Step

Well I just spoke to Gary about my payment, and he was very upset with me for calling him a name in my previous post, I aplogized to him and he did not accept it. So I want to be perfectly clear here and let everyone one know that I am sorry for calling you (Gary) a scum sucking leach.

Now that that has been said, I would also like to say that he told me his company is not in good shape and he explained to me what problems he as had, and is still having to this date. He promised me that he would pay me what he owes me and my check would go out next week. I refaxed my 2 invoices to him again.....
I mentioned to him that I have companies that pay me 2-3 times a month on time, and could not understand why he could not do the same, and he said that the companies he worked with closed their doors and he was left with the empty pot...
I told him that COMMUNICATION is to me one of the most important factors in this business, not to ignore someone when they email you 4 times and call you 4 times and send you a certifed return receipt letter in regards to their payment, then I have to call the lender to find out if this loan had been funded. Who in turn called him to inquiry why this had taken place.

Everyone on this board is now or at one time worked the business as their main income, and when we do not get paid in a timely manner we get TESTY!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, now that I have said all that and the tension in my neck and shoulders are leaving, I will not state anything else about Final Step again....UNLESS....I do not receive payment then my menopausel symptons will flare up and I may not be able to control the spew that comes forth.
Hope everyone has a nice day.
GO WOLVERINES!!

this bozo (and no, I won't apologize nor would I care if he accepted it or not) has had payment issues for YEARS. Just 3 weeks ago he bragged to another notary that he gets 1000 orders a month from Lending Tree. So, let's do some guestimating math - he pays $85 for e-docs. Perhaps he only makes $100 per order. Seems to me after he pays the notary he has a nice net of $15,000 per month - to earn a living, pay taxes and business expenses - he's not destitute.

If he's that bad, turn him in to Lending Tree. Perhaps they'll give the work to someone who is ethical, and worthy.

Why apologise for telling the truth?

Don't hold your breath on getting paid.

OK well I am most likley going to get lamblasted for this but here goes anyways.

I am thinking of reducing my fees for closings. ( I am sure everyone knows my Co.) Would everyone get really POed at me if I asked for a reduction in fees ?

Reduced fees?

Anthony, you mean of course fees will be reduced to the companies that hire you? And in turn the borrowers will pay less? Notaries don't make enough as it is....We can't afford to make less.
