Upgrading at NR

I friend of mine just upgraded to a premier membership and was charged $79.00. I went in to do the upgrade and NR wants $139.00. What gives on the different charges for the premier memberships? Does anyone know?

Re: Upgrading varies depending on.....

I think it depends on certain variables; when you originally signed up, how long you were a member, etc. I'm sure Harry will reply to this post or someone with better knowledge.

Re: Upgrading varies depending on.....

I originally joined this website when the premier membership was $34.00, paid it for a couple years and then reverted to the basic membership. But that's a huge difference for the same thing and was just curious why.

I believe it has to do with a combination of things, such as how many premium members are already in your area. If there are few premium members, I believe the premium membership costs less. If there are many premium members, then a new premium membership will cost more. I paid $109 when I went premium. It was worth it. Renewal was $69 , I think.
