take your candy and...

we always have lot of candy left, make little goodie bags and attach your biz card with some colorful ribbon and market...

Last night, my little one handed out my little bags with my general notary services cards to all who gave her candy...is that child labor? Wink

For established contacts, now would be good time to start a calling campaign to your lists and touch bases, good way to hear what's going on and who to send holiday cards to with your card and a sincere thanks for your working relationship. Also a good way to find out who's gone and clean up the list....also update your profiles and check for errors.

Once your list is updated, get some thanksgiving messages from free e-cards and e-mail a card of thankfulness for the business....keeps you in front of them.

Thanks for the helpful hints.

BTW, that's not child labor. It's education in marketing ....

e-mail greeting cards - I delete without reading these days

Unfortunately with all the viruses and bots and other nasties going around, I err on the side of caution and delete anything that claims to be a greeting card without opening it....that's if it gets past my spam filter. Fake greeting card emails was a major way for the scumbags to send nasty viruses and stuff a few years ago.
I'd be surprised if emailed greeting cards go through and were opened in most title company and signing agency offices.
Calls are excellent, of course, especially if you can find toll-free numbers for most of the companies you want to call.
Stamps aren't cheap, but one mass mailing of holiday cards that include your business card and a brief brochure about your services would undoubtedly generate enough business to justify the cost.
I have a small inprinted promotional products distributorship, and this year I am ordering computer monitor stick-on calendars with my notary contact information as a little gift to the title company and signing agency recipients of my holiday cards.

email greeting cards

The problem with malware greeting cards is bad enough that I take note of any card that comes from someone I know (if I can tell without opening it) that comes from any free ecard service. I make a note that that person is deficient in computer security, and never accept any email attachments from that person ever again, because his/her computer has a high risk of being infected. So sending email greeting cards could be counterproductive.
