A perfect pair
This from the NNA
"DHL and the NNA…Delivering Great Savings to Businesses like Yours"
For some reason they still insist on sending me email even though I dropped my membership some time ago.

DHL and NNA
Two loser companies. I can see why they would flock together.

Re: DHL and NNA
An organization who already has an image problem does more damage to themselves. What were they thinking?

They say "grate" minds think alike.

Re: DHL and NNA
So which one is the bad company, and which one is tarnishing their image? NNA hurts notaries, and DHL loses most packages.

I was wondering the same thing. How does this help if we do not pay for shipping to start with?

The NNA Doesn't Just Market...
...to us as signing agents; they also present themselves as the ultimate solution to signing companies, title compaines, & lenders. They can do it all...if you believe their hype.

Title companies and lenders don't need this service.
At least not through the NNA. Most companies that I work with have their own "high volume" discounts that far supersede the NNA discount. Heck, even my own FedEx discount is better that the DHL discount.
I think the NNA/DHL ad was purposely directed to signing agents. Given their past marketing schemes and press releases, it wouldn't surprise me if the NNA didn't start wooing the title companies and lenders saying that signing agents are in business and as such should be providing return overnight services at their (the signing agents) expense. And further recommend that they (TC and lenders) tell their signing agents to use DHL with the NNA discount code.

When It Comes to the NNA & Marketing...
...everyone is fair game as long as they can make a dime on it (in my humble opinion of course!). The NNA left their original "roots" a long time ago in their headlong pursuit of $'s. Your "prediction" could very well be where they're headed next.

Exactly
Why would you expect anything from the NNA to help us? Personally I would settle for them doing less harm.

Same here...
It has been years since I paid them for membership. Guess they figure they might entice someone back to the fold with their great offers. What a laugh!! Actually, what IS really funny is that I got the same email, just read it this morning and was planning to post the same comment here, as I had the same reaction as you. These are two companies that deserve each other. Also, I remember seeing something from them about this so called wonderful benefit several years ago.
BTW, I think that when they send these things out, they aren't really thinking of SAs, but rather the typical notary who might be in a small business setting, like a CPA office, small law office, mail annex or numerous other mom and pop shops with "Notary" posted on the window to bring in a few extra dollars...
