CMD being the signing agency, CMD pays on schedule in my experince with them, however the loans are very combersom. They request that you fax back on avarage 20 docs and they want you to split the loan package and send 1/2 to the title and 1/2 to the loan company. Then CMD would like you to make copies of the docs that are being split so each company gets all copies and originals to each location. I found that for all the work involved that they just don't pay enough. Good Luck

Is CMD any relation to CA Doc Signers? Or is this just standard practice on the part of Countrywide? I have the same deal going on this evening, split package sending w/ faxbacks...This is my first Countrywide signing and looks to be a major pain in the buttocks!!

They are a very good company and yes, sometimes you have to do split packages for them, but not that many. The fax backs are required so they can check your work and make sure the importants docs are correct. They pay promptly, are always available when questions arise, and they are all super nice. Have you done any Countrywide signings? They are all pretty much the same.

Actually, I guess there is a Countrywide CMD, nothing to do with CMD mobile notary. I don't know anything about that one......sorry.
