The IRS never contacts anyone via email...

Take a nanosecond to think about this. How could they possibly know your email address, when there's nothing on any of the tax forms that ask for it??

I always send any and all scam emails to the FBI internet fraud division (not to mention I work for the FBI as well) and then I also like to send the scammers a personal message that says "SCAMMERS we're watching you" or just a bunch of cuss words. lol! I remember reading on ebay one seller was selling horses and she got contacted by a scammer and she played along with the guy for months and kept giving him the run around about paying him. It was hilarious, she kept a internt blog of the emails send back and forth.
