Idiot in New Jersey

There is an idiot in New Jersey that claims to be getting paid from One Touch Closings. I think he may be with them. I told him to read the comments from the 10 postings below. Please beware of this closing company. I know of a Notary right now who has not been paid. He told me that the number he called was disconnected, but they are still in business. Anyone else know about this company?

There is another Notary from New Jersey that says this is a great company to work for. He did not read all the negative posts I guess, or he is really with the company. I had to tell the owner,Tommy, that I was tired of the run around, and that I was filing charges with the Palm Beach police dept. for theft of services. He paid after that.

Jeffrey Wishnia is not part of our company as he is contracted to do signings for us in NJ. There are notaries which I understand post negative comments when they have unfortunately been involved with an issue regarding payment.

There are not enough notaries who take the time to post information when a company pays them on time.

We work with notaries across the entire United States regularly. If we did not pay our notaries on time, we would not be in business because notaries are the heart our of our company and are to be treated with the respect of being issued payment in a timely manner.

Unfortunately, in your instance, I believe there was an address issue and your payment had in fact been sent to you in a timely manner on our end. However, you said that you did not receive your payment.

In this instance, what is to be done is the check issued needs to be be confirmed by our office that it has not cleared, and then a stop payment is to be issued as well as the address needs to be corrected to ensure prompt payment thereafter.

I apologize this was not taken care of as promptly as it should have been, but please note this is why the co-owner of the company during that time is no longer with the company.

And, why should they, Viki?

**There are not enough notaries who take the time to post information when a company pays them on time.**

And, why should they? SSs are *supposed* to pay on time. It's the agreement the SS makes with the contractor. It's not like SS owners are children and need to be rewarded when they do as is expected of them.

Why is this being addressed 7 months later?

and I agree wholeheartedly with Brenda...the agency is supposed to pay on time.
Payment is not a "gift".
I have done much agency work in my longtime career in several industries, and this is the first industry I have worked in where the agency
1. took the lion's share
2. were known for routinely paying late
3. don't normally have a contract in place with the companies they deal with outlining
payment structures and issues (re: no-signs and recissions and the like)
4. don't have the capital to back up in the event of late paying clients (to pay the contactors)

If there were some regulation and accountability of these agencies and their CFO's I would go back to working with some.

This is being addressed 7 months later because I am working diligently to restore the reputation of our company.

The agency is supposed to pay on time and unfortunately with our company - We went through 2 billing managers that weren't entering invoices for clients and notaries properly. This has since been corrected and I am trying to make this aware to notaries as well.

The same way notaries post on companies that have not paid on time, I think that there should be posts on companies that do as well.

Idiot in Florida. I have done several closings for the company and I always got a full payment. I even called them and they told me that people don't get paid fully when they make errors, they get a reduced fee. Well I guess the people who are complaining are the ones making those errors. Adrian I'm just not convinced until they screw me. I only had one company screw me over and they are in arizona or something and that happened when I was a beginner.

Well, I know of at least one signing agent, who has always done error free closings for me, that got stiffed by them, and a $25 bad check fee as well.

According to Tommy Pagan

His business partner had some unscrupulous business practices, but he is gone.
FWIW, I did many for 1 Touch last year and got paid on all of them in a timely manner.
The last one I did was 11/30/06, paid around 1/5/07.
Unfortunately, the check did not clear, and I was re-paid around April.
I was recently paid me the bad check fee, and spoke directly to Tommy (who intiated the call).
He says now he has dumped the partner, he will be making good on all delinquent accounts.
I'd say now is the time to give him another call.

Remember, you get more flies with honey than you will with vinegar.

I have completed over 400 closings for well know companies. They kept giving me one reason after the other why they did not pay. There are other notaries who did the same. I did not make an error. I think you got lucky. Also, there is another company called "The Closing Companydocs.com who also do not pay. I will look at the feedback next time before I complete a closing for a company I have not heard of or done business with. I really do wish you good luck and hope you don't get stiffed by them. They did pay me after I had to say I was going to file theft of services charges. I printed over 500 pages for the closing. It was a refi and a second.

ADRAIN WINSTEAD

He has been paid for both of his closings. Although he did poor work, he was still paid in full. His poor record keeping is not are fault and the slander is absurd.

God bless and have a great night. If you have never been paid by my company for any reason, please call me directly and I will look into the matter.

Regards,

I have tried to contact you and you are unresponsive. The other email you posted said I did two professional closings, and now you say I did poor work. It is very easy for everyone to see who is lying and not being professional.

Re: ADRAIN WINSTEAD

You have not completed 2 closings for our company nor do I remember posting anything regarding your quality of work. Please let me know where I can find this information.

I believe the closing you had performed for us did not close.

I apologize for any confusion but would be happy to have this corrected as promptly as possible and you may call me in office at 954.481.8957 or on my cell should you not reach me in office - 813.451.0369.

We have a lot of notaries who are paid in a timely manner since the managerial issue we had in our Billing Department has been corrected. Our 561.208.3803 was not disconnected, but changed to 954.481.8957. A message when you called 561.208.3803 replied with a response of the new contact number as we have changed locations since a change in ownership was made. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to call 954.481.8957.
