Keystone is collecting a one-time setup fee from notaries.

Ilene, from what I can tell, they are doing nothing for us except collect a one-time setup fee of $6.95. In this morning's e-mail there was yet another solicitation for notaries public to sign up and fill the shortage of available notaries. They suggest that there aren't enough notaries to fill the demand. Yeah, right.

I checked out the sign up form and it requests your paypal login and password, it is not a link to paypal. Very fishy. Did not do it

Ilene. I got the same email this morning. I found it in the Search here. I just typed in Keystone Vendor and 3 different threads came up. I deleted my e-mail.

I signed up with them 3 weeks ago and had 2 files for a countrywide branch since then. Not a bad return for my $6!
