Miami 33145 zip code

I have a signing for tomorrow, overnight or edocs, I have docs now.
Loan docs are 64 pages pdf
disclosures and escrow I have as well, about 25 additional pages, ( i have not opened them up)
My normal Miami signing agents are all off for the weekend.

I know how slow it is, so I will offer this to someone here

Re: Miami 33145 zip code - PS

Of course it depends on what fee you are willing to pay on whether Matilde will be available or not. (Same would go for any experienced signing agent)

Syliva, thank you. I actually have someone I know will take this signing, but I believe that this Notary talk board can work for both the signing agents and the signing agencies at the same time.

I was offering this signing, as I know many are concerned with the slowness of the industry, and are displaying this on the board.
Thank you for the referral, I will give this post another 30 mins, and then I will call begin our profile list.
We were offering another way for everyone to work together, as this board often accomplishes.

thank you for your post Syliva

This board does work for the signing agent and the signing agencies.

Signing agencies should take note of the fee discussions on this board and be willing to pay a fair fee. Although business is slow it is no reason for a signing agent to reduce their fee to a pittance. Signing agencies are still getting the same fee for a signing and because their volume has reduced it is no reason to give the signing agent less to make up for their loss of volume.
And I am talking as a signing agency as well as a signing agent.

Frown

SoCal Signings has not reduced our fees at all, so this does not apply to my original post.

My post was an offer to the loyal chat board posters here.

Thought it was a no brainer

I have docs, and signing is for tomorrow
Just wanted to see if there were takers

As you know Florida certainly has lots of signing agents, so finding someone was not a problem.

Enjoy your weekend
Its Friday

Re: Miami 33145 zip code Sounds to me Sylvia

According to her PM to me, her fees are $85 for overnight and $100 for edocs.
A year ago those may have been "reasonable", but costs have risen. Gas prices are up etc.

I wouldn't work for those fees and I wouldn't expect my signing agents to work for those fees either. $100 should be the minimum for overnight, not edocs.

They are not a $50.00 signing service.

I did two signings for them last week. Very nice people to work with. Very down to earth and understand what we are going thru with the slow down. They started out as signing agents.

Kate
If they started out as signing agents they should realize that $100 is not good enough these days for edocs. Being nice people to work with is great, but it doesn't pay the bills.

Pardon me, Sylvia, but who are you to dictate

fees.

I would rather do an in-town signing for $100 and get paid, than drive 100 miles, print docs, wait for borrowers to read the stack, and then NOT get paid.

If someone is comfortable with a c-note, then I, for one, would certainly not condemn that decision, these days or no.

You pay more. Great. NY NSAs get higher fees than other areas; maybe the signing is across the street, or any number of things. Lots of factors to weigh when negotiating fees, and one size doesn't fit all. I'm not condoning the $50 signings, but $100 is not $50.

The original poster was knocking on the NR door, and has now said "never again." How sad.

Re: Pardon me, Sylvia, but who are you to dictate

Sorry - I am NOT dictating fees, but stating my opinion that $100 for edocs is not enough!!!!
I would not insult my signing agents by offering those fees.

If you want to accept $100 for edocs I wouldn't stand in your way.

Didn't mean to imply you had reduced your fees. From your PM to me your fees are $85 for overnight and $100 for edocs.

Florida does have a lot of signing agents, the state is flooded with them. The trick is to find someone experiencedSmile

Thank you, Miss Sylvia!

For telling it like it is thru this whole thread....costs are rising; those fees are not adequate; no reason for SA to take less; and, last but not least==experience counts! Yep, yep, yep & yep, again.

$85 overnight...Bluffing?

Talk about RESPECT for the board; I've gotten calls from SoCal their replies were always $85 for edocs after I quoted my fee.

Yes, I have had a few PM's telling me that SoCal doesn't pay that much. I only quoted what the PM to me said.

Is less than truthful about the fee they pay and is trolling NR for a notary....while trying to look noble.
