NB SIGNING AGENCY, SPRING, TX

Did a signing for this company and somehow they are used by Sendera Title, whom I have signed for before with no problems. Never heard of this company before, it is owned by a Gail Bryan and they have two listings - one in Conroe, Texas and Spring, Texas. I spoke with this Gail on August 30th, and she said she ws sending a check ASAP. Where have I heard that before......................
This evening when I went to fax them a Past Due Notice, I see their fax number has been disconnected. Wondering if anyone has heard of them before and what your experience (if any) was.

Information provided by the TX SOS and Comptroller indicates

that NB Signing Agency is a LP. The GP is NB Medical Management LLC. Additional information for the LLC can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/24hbdf. Perhaps you can locate a phone number for the GP to reach Gail there. At worst, you can use their snail mail address.

Good luck!

Re: NB SIGNING AGENCY, SPRING, TX Bad News!

I just got off the phone with one of the title companies that used this company and NB Signing has gone out of business. I was told that Gail's son split off and started is own signing service and that she is no longer in business. This really ticks me off because Gail was paid on the signing I did and didn't send me one red cent. There goes another loss.

I'm thinking the GP can be held liable for the LP's debt

Back in the dark recesses of my mind, I'm thinking that a general partner of a limited partnership is liable for the LP's debt.

I did a quick Google search and found this article: http://www.burger.com/ltdpship.htm. See paragraph number 3.

Can anyone confirm that this is the case? If so, you could try collecting from NB Medical Management LLC if it's still an operating entity.

(I'm not an attorney, etc.)

I also was cheated out of several hundred $ by Gail Bryan. I understand that she has moved out of TX. I spoke directly w/ the title company that paid Gail for the closings I did and they would do nothing to help. Now, I understand that this title company has also closed its doors and moved its files into another sister company. Yes, again, I have been cheated. The amount I was cheated also included my personal money that was paid to lease a space in an attorney's office. Does anyone know of any recourse or assistance available?

hmmm----seems gail bryan has skipped the country! i have contacted sendera title and tried tracking her through online search--with no results. i also contacted the state concerning her (and her husband's) notary commission. the state offered the same address and phone numbers, with no update. it was suggested to take her to small claims---but it's impossible, since she can't be served if she has disappeared~!
