OT-Need To Find Font Called MRN

Hi,

I need to find a font called "MRN" to help my daughter with her wedding invitations. I have been searching and searching the internet using every search engine I know all to know avail.

If anyone knows where I can find this font, I would really appreciate the information.

TIA

MRN is an abbreviation for the Marnie Font Family by Linotype. I do not know of any place that allows for a free download of this font but you can purchase it from Fonts.com (http://www.fonts.com/FindFonts/detail.htm?pid=204570).

OT: Linotype?! Are they still around?!

Back in the dark ages I was qualified to set type on Linotypes and to repair 'em. Are there any Linotypes still around? I thought hot type was gone....

Re: OT: Linotype?! Are they still around?!

I don't know if there are any real machines from the Mergenthaler Linotype Company still in operation or not. But "Lintotype dot com" has tons of proprietary fonts in true type, postscript and other file categories. I believe Fonts.com is an outlet or reseller of Linotype.com fonts.
