Open Letter to those who PM and are newbies

For some reason I am getting PM'ed daily from those who would like me to help them in some manner: give names of companies I work with, who to sign with, and so on. Because of this I am removing the link to my profile, because some of you are just downright rude, not even bothering to say who you are, how you found me, etc...no intro. Following is an open letter to those of you who do this sort of thing:


PM questioner: Your best bet is to find another line of business. You are entering a declining market, regardless of whatever the org. that trained you said. The road to riches is the one not taken.

Read the forum for past couple of days – figure it out for yourself. I cannot help you - I have great need for help after 7 years. Companies are going out of business and not paying, bankruptcy w/o paying, and so on. And what I do have, I am not going to share with an unknown as I have plenty of others in the same situation as I am and they are fully knowledgeable of this business and will return the favor.

Plain and simple: my phone is not ringing these days. I am changing job and panicking about what am I going to do. I am scared – just didn’t think it was going to happen this way.

I am sorry I can’t tell you nicer things – I know how desperate everyone is feeling and the forum will convey that feeling to you if you don’t believe me. And, FWIW, I am not afraid of competition and have helped many in the past, but just can’t do it anymore.

but removing link to your profile will not stop the PM's. Most of my PM's from newbies have come from using the Private Reply function to the message on the board.

won't remove your profile. You are a valued poster on here for many of us to look forward to reading everyday.

And besides. won't removing your profile hinder a potential call for a signing? I know we have many TC, Lenders and reputable SS who read our board looking for good NSA's.
