Please, new Notaries Public, ...

... take to heart the Posts that you see here before you jump in with both feet to loan signing. Those of us who have been Notary Signing Agents a few years are not just trying to stifle competition by telling you that times are very tough right now. Many of us are having to take 9 to 5 jobs in order to survive.

Research, research, research, _before_ you decide to take that online loan signing course. Use the "Find a Notary" tab to see how many Notaries there are within a reasonable driving distance of you. Read the Posts about being stiffed by companies. Yes, it _will_ happen to you, too.

Especially the stiffed part. . .

We all know who we have been burned by. I have been burned by SOX, United Notaries, Signatures Plus, and Quick Docs for starters. They are looking for fresh meat to stay alive, and they are hoping that you are too green to know what they are up to.

Many signing agencies do not get paid of the loan does not go through, so they out money too, and they are trying to pass the savings on to us.
