Printing Question
Hi, all! I just got a dual tray laser printer and have a question about a doc I need to print. It is a 110 page pdf doc. As you would expect, some pages should print on legal, some on letter. I do not see how I can make it auto select the paper size so that it will pull from whichever tray. I do have my printer set up so that it knows what tray to pull from if it is told legal or letter. I just can't figure out how to get it to pull from multiple trays during the same doc. Anyone know??? Thanks so much!!

Chris. If the pkg is sent in Adobe, when you go to File then Print, make sure the box is checked where it says Choose Paper Source by PDF page size. It will print the way the doc's are scanned in, usually both letter and legal size.
Don't know if this is what your looking for. Just a thought.

Chris: I would imagine that first you must set up
your printer so it knows which tray contains letter and which contains legal. I have an HP, but I would think all are basically the same. On mine, one goes through the printer menu to set Tray 2 to letter and Tray 3 to legal, for instance.
The manual should get you to the point where when you are ready to print, you can 'check' the box that says to print depending on paper size as stated above.

Chris, I had the same problem and it still wouldn't work so, I called Brother and they walked me thru the whole setup and now it works great. Might give Brother a call.
