REALLY SLOW start...extremely FAST ending

On what would have been the normal EOM (Monday and Tuesday) I had 2 scheduled closings (which by the way both canceled) instead of the normal 5 to 6 in a day. In fact it was so dead I called myself to make sure the phone was working.
I decided to take a substitute teaching job yesterday and during that time I had 5 calls on my cell phone (thank goodness during my prep period) so from 3:00 until 10:00 I was busy running around all over town doing signings. I even had one today.
I am not sure why the lenders picked yesterday, unless they finally figured out it was the end of the quarter too.
I have 2 scheduled for Monday and I really hope that this trend continues as signing is MUCH EASIER than teaching highschool kids.

I really hate it when they call you and say we have a closing in a few hours the same day. I like the well known companies that call you with a closing that is several days away. This is correct planning and the way it should be. The ones that call with last minute closings that are not well known , at least from now on, I look up on Notary Rotary to see their background.

The end of the month is changing from the 25th to the last day of the month if you haven't noticed

Had nothing on the books for 10/1 week and Saturday the phone went crazy. Have 3 on the books for the first 2 days of the month. I think its spill over from September. Lets hope October turns out better then last month. These are the money months for sure.

Things are so crazy right now, that I am not sure when the EOM is anymore...Its slow all month for me right now in Ohio. Hang in there..things do change!
