Rochel with ExpressMobileClosers

I do not know if this company owes you any money (she is Rochel
Ali-Darwish) but she has changed her number. I spoke to a Shani with American Eagle Processing and she said she used her again 2 weeks ago....I ask about the closing I did in June for her and she said Rochel was paid in July. I told her she is paying Rochel but the person that did the work is not being paid. I have
Rochels new number if you need. She will probably just lie again. She want get the chance to steal from me again.

oh thank you i will check now. can i ask you a question. i have been a mtg loan procesasor for over 10 years. and i dexcided to become a closing agent only. but is really hard to find a title company that will give you business if you dont have closing experience. i got my notary and all my certificates 3 mos ago. but have not gotten any work at all. what do i need to do to be able to get any closings. thanks

to esplFL: loan processor turned closing agent.

Maybe you should start a new thread with your question. But in general, no one is finding any work. If we knew how to generate new work, we would be doing it. Most of us are down 50% to 75% from last year, and we have had steady work for years. People are not getting loans, so loan companies are closing. That means less work for Title companies, so they are lowering what they are paying so they can keep more to cover overhead, and so we sit at home waiting for the phone to ring, and if it does ring, they are not paying enough to cover the cost of the sigings. And for the jos we did in the past, companies are folding without paying for work that we already did. So we are either: trying to find work, waiting for the phone to ring, or trying to collect from deadbeats before they file bankruptcy.

Also, on top of that, the NNA is churing out more notaries all the time, telling everyone that this is "lucrative", "set your own hours", "work from home", and "perfect for stay-home moms", none of which is true. I am (was) never home, I worked whatever hours the borrorwers wanted, and my husband complained that he felt like a bachelor. Plus, all the other people in the loan business who are out of work are also flooding the signing agent market. So if the closing agents with established clientele for years cannot get work, how is a newbie supposed to get work?

yes i understand that the mtg business is bad i regret quiting my processing job but there is nothing i can do now but either find a job as a procesasor or see what i can do to get closings. are you in florida?

You quit your job before you'd ever done a single closing?

Not smart.

This business is all but dead. Go get another processing job if you can and check back in a few months to see if things have changed.

This is the worst time to be getting into this line of work. A lot of very seasoned agents are looking for other work. I have always had other streams of income to offset the bad times. I just did an application
for a Reverse mortgage today and that will take 4-6 weeks to close. I will make a good commission but it will almost 2 months before I see any money. I do foreclosure inspections but things have slowed down because HUD/FHA is trying to rework the loans and these loans closings are not using mobile notaries, they use title companies where the borrower has to come to the title co.

I thought that name rang a bell from a recent thread here on NotRot. I couldn't find it on a search, but if you google the name Rochelle Ali-darwish, something very interesting shows up.

Mention the google link

to the title company you mentioned and ask them when you will be paid. I am sure their legal department does not want any trouble. Not a lawyer, but was threatened by one once.

she is now affiliated with a company in opa locka florida called recycledpcparts.com. if you have justifiable legal matters to settle with her, i may be able to help further.
what number are you referring to, because i still use the 435 prefix, with same area code, to reach her.
