Does anyone know how to get paid from Signature Plus they owe me alot of money from the beginning of the year and then their phone was disconnected and now refuses to answers my calls and e-mails. I just to a small amount of signings on the side and am not sure if there is someone I can complain to. Any information would be greatly appeciated....

I have heard that they are not paying, as well, so are an additional handful of other signing services - Are you a member of the NNA? and if so, you can contact them about collections. I personally have not used them but we need some recourse against companies that fraudulently hire us to do signings for them and not pay us.

Yes, I have never really read the discussion page before, i probably should have before I did anysignings. I started this after the storm (Katrina) when I lost my notary business and moved to new area. I am not part of NNA but am conisering it and will be doing some research on this as well, i'll keep you posted. Thanks for your comment

I currently sign for about 30 services and have found lately that if you do not stay on some of their backs you will not get a check for 2 or 3 months. Stay on them - a local notary here in AZ finally got paid after 3 or 4 months from Signatures. I do not sign for them because of the same situation that I have heard from other local az notaries.

Before you join the nna use the search button and see what most seasoned NSA's think of them. Also search "xyz". Often they referred to as such.
Hope you get paid...Smile

In this current economy, it would be very wise to check all companies out before working with them. The "Signing Central" tab at the top is a good place to start and also use the Orange Search button. Read the comments sections as many a previously good co. is...uh...not so much as of the last few months. It's a hard world out there in mortgage-land these days.
Also it's a good idea to check what veteran signing agents have to say about the NNA.

The only signing I took from them took 6 months to pay. It was ridiculous what I had to go through. I filed a complaint with the BBB, AG and sent complaints to the lender and title agent. I bugged SigPlus every month and got the same crap. Finally got a check on the 180th day.

Good luck getting paid. I just sent them a Happy Anniversary email since they owe me from last September. I have tried all suggestions to no avail.

Re: Check your private messages

You can try to email Debbie. Debbie Hastings" [e-mail address] - she is the accounting manager. Good luck though, she might give you the run around that she has to talk to the owner or that a check was cut and cashed. I wrote them off. They still owe me over $200 from Oct 06 to date.
