"Signatures Plus" of California SCAM

Hi everyone ~
Maybe you have already been informed about Signatures Plus from California NOT paying people for their services, but in case you haven't, here is a letter (below) I received from the Better Business Bureau, which they do NOT belong to (imagine that). Check them out on the Better Business Bureau website or Attorney General (California) website...they're a SCAM outfit according to the 1,000 bad remarks against them for NON-PAYMENT. I did my work for them back on February 9, 2007, and haven't paid yet. I remember because it was my father's birthday. Hopefully, the word will get out about them so they don't continue to SCAM others!
Good luck!

Karen,

We have received your recent correspondence in regards to your complaint . We have contacted the company twice with your complaint and they have failed to respond on both occasions. Unfortunately, we are unable to pursue your complaint any further, as it appears the company is just not willing to work with us. Because they are not members of the Better Business Bureau, they are not obligated to respond. Your next step would be to take legal action against the company. You may also wish to contact your State’s Attorney General’s Office and/or the Federal Trade Commission at: (877) 382-4357 for further assistance. Please keep in mind that your complaint will stay on the company’s record and be reported for the next 3 years. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Daniel T. Stiner

Sorry to say but this is old news. Sig Plus has no intention on paying you. I did a signing Nov 2006 and it took 180 days to get a check. I would simply hang up if they were to call. Their "brother" company (actually no relation) SOX already took my name off their list. I wouldn't negotiate their low ($40) fees. I just said "No".
