jokes on me! lol...
OK, get a call from someone on the arsenal that needs a notary stamp on some div docs. I say "sure, c'mon over but you need to be here by 5:30," he replies, "well I have the docs on a stick and I need to download them first"....now my IT director hubby in the background says "we can do that here" Cool...bring the stick, I'll take care of it. WTF is a stick? He/hubby shows me where to download it from, gets me all set up and freaking leaves! ugh..... Now, the gentleman rings the doorbell, cuz he's late and I take the stick upstairs and I'm trying to get this thing into my port - too big! Call o excellence on cell in a panic because I can't get the thing into my port and he tells me to take off the black cap....meanwhile, the guy's downstairs laughing, I wonder why? It was real DUH moment. Anyway, I made a whopping 3 bucks and I learned how to stick a stick! made my day, I'll tell ya! Technology, who'd a thunk it.

I love "sticks", but I call them jump drives
There's quite a few slang names for them, but I bought a couple when they first came out and were called jump drives. I think the most common name now is thumb drive. Anyway, they go in a USB port (after you remove the cap, LOL) and are like a mini external hard drive. You can either download directly onto one or move/copy files and folders from a regular hard drive onto one. They're great if you need a fast and easy way to carry files and/or folders from one computer to another, a lot easier and smaller to carry than CDs or DVDs, and endlessly reusable. I have 64mg and 128mg as well as 2G sizes. And the prices are very reasonable, especially if you catch a sale combined with a rebate.
