not paid
Has anyone done closings for 1 Touch Closings? I have and have not been paid. I've been trying to collect for over 5 months. Don't do closings for them.

Lots of messages on this forum regarding them. Don't think anyone who reads this board will work for them again.

Have they closed the doors yet? If not, just keep working them. I have always gotten paid. The bad thing is if you try and shut them down, you may never see your money.

Hello, We have not "closed our doors". We have always paid our notaries and remain very much so in business. Unfortunately, due to a managerial issue in our Billing Department, payments were issued with delay. This has since been corrected and delayed payments are no longer a trait with our company.

I did a closing for them on 7/2 and finally got paid on 9/1, I kept on faxing and e-mailing my invoice and when I finally got thru to a person on 8/27 I was told they were cutting it that day.

Finally paid by Tommy
For a bad check fee from Nov 06. All other debts they owed with me have been paid. Tommy called me a week or so ago, said his partner wasn't such a good partner financially, and they were finally getting everyone paid up after they dissolved their business relationship. I received my check in a couple of days, and it was a good check. Apparently they are trying to get things back up and running after a business relationship went south. Tommy says everyone will be paid! I suggest asking for him when enquiring about funds owed, as he is the decision-maker.

I, too, finally got paid. Tommy called and told me he was cutting a check right away. I received payment within a week.

Hi Sandy, I apologize for the delay in your payment. Please note there have been managerial changes in our Billing Department to eliminate late payments associated with our company. Please know this issue has been corrected.

Re: 1-Touch
Wow! Guess I got lucky -- I was paid as agreed without having to chase anyone. This was fairly recently, as I was chatching up on the last month's worth of filing in my office.

I have met with Tommy and Melissa personally and they are good people. Just stay after them. They will pay.

I just do not get this. Someone else recently posted basically the same thing about another company, how good they were you just had to keep after them to get paid. If they are such good people they should pay their bills without having to be hounded. If you don't keep after them do they not pay? That sure does not sound like someone all that great IMO.

Hi Tom, I apologize for the delay in your payment as there have been managerial changes in our Billing Department to correct this situation. Please note, this is no longer a trait of our company.
As stated in our Guidelines, if there are missed stamps or missed signatures, there will be a deduction in the fee previously disclosed prior to closing. In some instances, a deduction will not be applied if the correction is made in a timely manner. Unfortunately, due to a missed stamp, missed signature, and not having this corrected in a timely manner you in fact did receive payment with a deduction in the disclosed fee on your confirmation.
