I am trying to sign up with them and they ask a copy of my DL and SSC any advise

Black out the number,....

date of birth and address on DL. Give them your EIN instead of SSN. If you don't have one you can get one on-line or by phone in minutes.

I have never given out that info when asked. I have given the company my EIN number and have told them that on the advice of my attorney I will not give copies of my DL - with info blacked out or otherwise. And I never had any problem getting work from those companies.

I, naively, did send copies of my license to people - no blacking out - I thought it was required and wanted to get on their lists - the only thing I balked at was a request for a copy of my car insurance - - now thanks to everyone here I know better...and I JUST SAY NO!!!...<G>
