America - First Legal Services

A gal named Amy emailed me and asked me if I could notarize 3 signatures for their client here in San Diego. Has anyone worked for them before? According to the email, their address is 325 N. Saint Paul, Suite 1900 Dallas, Tx 75201. TIA!

America First Legal Services out of Dallas TX hired me for a medical records affidavit notarization back on 5/21/08. It was a simple $50 job where all I had to do was notarize a one-page document.

After 30 days went by without payment, I called them and they stated they would research the matter and issue payment to me. I have called 8 times since June and each time I'm told either "the matter will be researched" or "the person you spoke to last no longer works here."

I would not recommend doing business with this company based on my experience.
