Another income stream...

www.fastsnap.com

This company is looking for people to take digital photos of all kinds of things.

Have you tried it yourself, Charles?

No, Carmi I haven't done any work for them. They advertise regularly in Insurance Journal and I know people who have used them effectively. I just thought I'd toss it out. I'm a very strong proponent of multiple streams of income.

I have, and they pay very fast...

I actually have 2 properties that I have to take pictures for this week. I havent had any problems or issues thus far...its kind of fun too, but the people in the area usually look at you crazy so you have to be stealthy, because the homes are us usually empty and your trying to take rear, front and side shots!!! lol

Average 28.00 per stop. No report and easy money:-)

I do photos for them, only local as they only pay $10. It also depends on how many photograpers are in your area. You put your price in and the companies choose based on your price.

For 10.00 dollars I will do them only if I can take them from my front lawn or my office window! LOL! Gas prices in my town are
3.79 per gallon on regular gas.

Fastsnap used to be good

I was one of their photographers for a few years, but recently they are hiring "agencies" to fill their needs in this area.
Example: there is a realtor in Florida who is acting as an agency, when Fastsnap needs photographs, they hire HER and she subcontracts out to the photographers, much like a SS.
Therefore, no longer can I get the assignments at $10 apiece, the agent is taking a $3 cut.

You can also go to www.complytraq.com. They need inspectors nationwide. They are business inspections to verify that they are a business. These are companies that pull credit bureau reports. 5 photos, 4 page questionaire. These are by appointment only and you have to interview the contact person and they sign the report. You fax the report and download or email photos. You also can go to www.nvms.com, they do the same thing. They take about 30 min.

Complytrag pays anywhere from $15- and up. In some areas like Alaska they go for $100.
I only do local for $25. What happens is they put them on the website and as time goes by they offer more and more. They start at $15 and you have 30 days but I do not do those and I only do local businesses in my zip code. I do ones that I pass by everyday, I do not go out of my way.

They still offer $25, I just did one this morning. They emailed me yesterday and offered me $25. I do not do the $15 ones. It was 5 miles from me.

Complytrac back to $25 this am - wonder if it was

a test to see how low they could get these done? It was the first I had seen such low offers. For some reason they don't send geographically and I get offers from all over state, but not near enough to me to make it worth my while. Haven't done a single one yet, don't know if i could do their web site now...LOL.

I also get emails for all over the state. I do not know why they can't send ones within a range you specify. They have a ton listed at $15 and they sit there for weeks and the closer it gets to the deadline they start offering more. Maybe they should get the hint. $25 will give me a half tank of gas.
