Anyone using Ring Central for faxing?
Just curious about it- seems like the most reliable next to efax- which I want to cancel. Efax is costing me $205.00 per year....and Ring Central would be $96.00 for the yearly rate. TIA!!!!

Check out Maxemail...particularly the 'lite'.
Might work for you at--can't remember--$45/year or so?

Do you use that one? Do you pay per outbound page? B/c the lite plan does not have outbound....but I am not sending many pages these days. It is reliable?

Canceling eFax - just a heads up
If you decide to cancel eFax, be aware that it's not as easy as it should be. The page you need to use is hidden (or buried so deep that you can't find it). It took me a couple of phone calls to find out how to cancel - which can only be done online, even though they make it difficult to do so. This may save you some time and aggravation:
When you want to cancel, log in to www.efax.com/cancel and choose the Live Chat option. You will be connected to a customer service rep who can cancel the account for you. You'll need to provide your fax number and PIN. The customer service rep will probably offer you a couple of months service for free. If you decide to accept it, you'll have to remember to log in again and go through the same procedure again at the end of that period, because they won't remind you - they'll just start charging you again.

Thanks Mike. I have never found efax to be EASY to
get out of though I have had them for years....probably one reason I haven't disconnected my account.

Thanks for the heads up! That reminds me of when
I cancelled AOL a number of years back....and had to "cancel" it about 6 times and wait on hold-for a loooooong time in order to get it cancelled. I think that there was a class action suit against AOL for not cancelling the accounts.
If efax screws me I will cancel the credit card and get a new number. I am not wasting my time with that BS ever again.

Re: Thanks Mike. I have never found efax to be EASY to
Although they are reliable, they're just too expensive for me to justify the cost anymore. Plus, it really burns me when a company makes it that difficult to discontinue service.
