Blackjack phone
I just upgraded to a Samsung Blackjack today. Att has a deal for $99. Had to sign up for 6 months of internet to get that price. I thought this is the phone I would really like (really searched it) , but I have had 3 phone calls today and the person calling sounds like they are a million miles away. My daughter lives less than a mile from me and I could hardly hear her and I echoed in the phone. I have the earpiece volume turned up, so that's not the problem. Does anyone else have this phone and is there a way to fix this? So far I don't like it at all. I haven't had enough time to use the internet yet or download music etc etc etc. Any experiences you care to share. Thanks

I have the black jack and love it, the only problem I have is the email part, I cant sync it with my outlook... but I am sure its me, not the phone. I can hear perfectly on it, my hubby has the razor and I can hardly hear on any of the 3 he has had... I also have ATT. I would call them and see about an exchange or go to a service repair store, better bet with that!

Thanks Eliesha I will take it back to Radio Shack and
have them look at it. I've only had it 2 days and I'm sure I will like it once I get familiar with all it has to offer. I also have outlook as my e-mail along with g-mail and yahoo as needed. I will ask at my dealer how to set outlook up. I'll let you know if I get it accomplished.

Razr - ironic ...
I was having the WORST time hearing, and just got a Red Razr V3 specifically for the amazing sound clarity. My husband got one first, and once I used it I was sold. My service provider is Sprint - might make a difference? I have no clue if it matters.
What I did learn through this recent purchase (from a Sprint store) was that things have changed a lot since my last purchase 2 years ago. Now, I could actually TRY the different phones in the store - make/receive a call and talk/listen to test the sound quality, and there's a 30 day exchange policy if it just doesn't work out as you'd hoped.
I remember 2 yrs ago when I bought the last phone (at Best Buy - never again!), I was SO disgusted that I couldn't TEST any of the phones! If there was an exchange/return policy, I was definitely kept in the dark about it. I don't know if they've also changed that, but I will never again buy a cell phone w/out testing it, or a return/exchange policy.
