Curious? Disreputable companies calling
I just received a call from a company that has horrible reviews on here but I was on 2 other lines already so they left a voicemail for a signing asap tonight.
I'm usually one to answer calls as much as possible or at least return them asap.
I'm wondering however, if I should even bother with "customer service" since I wouldn't want to work for them anyways.
Just thought I'd ask what others do and maybe we can all learn something.
Thanks!

I would return their call, letting them know that I decline the job offer as they have a poor reputation on the notary forums for ____________________.

Forgot to mention...
they've also always low-balled me so I haven't accepted, but I've always kindly declined.
It's getting bad because I already turned down a low-ball offer earlier today from another disreputable company.
I sure hope this loan stimulus package helps turn things around some. In the Bay Area CA it's raising conforming loans from $417,000 to $729,750!!!
Bring on the purchases and re-fi's!

Why waste your time?
Customer service is for customers, not deadbeats.

Might be worth while to return the call just to present a professional face to the scheduler - who knows, the bad company could be out of business in two months and maybe the scheduler will end up working at a title company you'd like to work with and will remember you fondly as one of the people who never yelled at him or ignored his calls.
(This presumes the company is a big company with employees and not one where Joe Fly-by-Night is the owner, title company contact, scheduler, and non-responsive accounting guy!)
