Final Step Post from Another site

Check out this post from another web site which has a notary forum. I think it confirms what the previous posts about Final Step said. If anyone has the address for Reliable Signing Services, either post it or PM me, I have a collectable judgment against Gary. (He didn't file for bankruptcy, thats a myth). Unfortunately, that other site is not as user friendly as this one, (which is why I primarly visit this site) and I could not request this address on that other site.

I did 3 sigings for THE FINAL STEP in October 2007. I was never paid. Numerous calls were never returned. I went to THE FINAL STEP's place of business in Eldersburg, MD and spoke to the lanlord of the building where THE FINAL STEP conducted business. THE FINAL STEP is out of business. The landlord gave me the home address of GARY PLUMMER, owner of THE FINAL STEP. In January 2008 I received a call to do a signing by a woman named TERRI at RELIABLE SIGNING SERVICES, also in Eldersburg, MD. When I received the confirmation from RELIABLE SIGNING SERVICES I discovered their address was the same as GARY PLUMMER's home address!!!!!

And it will continue to happen since anyone can open a "signing service", no oversight, no regulations, no recourse for the notaries whose services they steal.

there is recourse

although most notaries won't take the necessary steps to do anything. I am quite sure the AG of Maryland, while certainly not in the collection business, would be interested in a company that closes down under one name owing people money and opens up another business, doing exactly the same thing.

This was posted on here yesterday.

I checked MD's business website and Final Step was listed as "forfeited" and there was no listing for a trade name Reliable Signing Services/
