Fuel costs

Gas just went up here to $3.79 a gallon. I live in northern Indiana. At this rate I am going to have to start riding my bike and put a couple of saddle bags on the sides. This is ridiculous!!!

Fuel surcharge

Perhaps it time to tack on a fuel surcharge of $.30 mile over x many miles.

Dad tells me...

I live in the same perrinially high cost area but the furthest I can remember is when they changed the pumps to add the dollar... in fact I remember them setting the old pumps to fifty some odd cents and doubling it.

But... my pops, and my mom, talk about putting together all their buds pocket change for half a tank of gas for cruising on a Friday night.

Pocket change

Half a tank (which was needed to run those rides for a couple hours).

He wouln't tell me, but I'm thinking that fist full of dimes covered a pack of smokes too.
