I have a question about a QCD

I have a situation I have never had before. I have a signing tomorrow that involves a QCD for an ex spouse to sign. The ex spouse could not sign tomorrow, but did sign the QCD tonight. My question is: should I date the QCD for tomorrow when the BO actually signs the QCD and all of the other documents, or date it for today because the ex signed it today? I covered myself by printing out an extra copy and had the ex sign both. The ex does not have to sign anything else. I'm thinking I should date it for tomorrow because that is when the last signature will go on it and all other documents are already dated.
I need input on this...TIA

Date day of signing. Attach loose ack. for 2nd signer dated day s/he signed it.

All you need to worry about dating is your acks.....when this happens, (and IME it has happened more than a few times), I attach a loose ack for the second signer, dated correctly.

Many thanks! Why didn't I think of that?
Thanks to you both!
