Moving to Arizona

Can anyone tell me what the prospects are in Arizona? I need to decide whether to get my notary commission in Arizona or not.

Somebody please get back to me. I would appreciate it any feedback I can get. Thanks

One thing you could do is to click on the Find A Notary and input the zip code you are moving to and check how many signing agents are listed on NotRot for that area. May help a little.

Also, scroll down to see the post from a AZ NSA saying how

slow it is.

Not only is it slow, it its almost DEAD. About all that is happening are Reverse Mortgages. Those are all out in the far suburbs taking an hour to get there and big bucks out of your gas tank. The fees here are extremely low unless you have worked for a TC for quite a while and they know you.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we are all facing this situation now.

Business has been declinig here for about the last 6 months. This has been the worst month I have had in 2+ yrs and I do not think it will be better soon. I have been an signing agent in AZ for 4 yrs and this is SLOW. I hope you have money saved!

wonder how many were for the polygamists? Since they don't like outsiders....

Just finished reading a blurb about them, pause to wonder...

Well, I have made the move and one of the people that I did work for in Indiana has requested that I get my commission and send them a new application. After reading your responses, I am very hesitant at this point. Maybe I should just get a bookkeeping job instead. I have done bookkeeping for many years before I did this. I am in Mesa now and just got my drivers license. So I guess I need to decide if I spend the money on a commission or not.
