Need info on Professional Settlement Services

Orange search gave me nothing. Got a call from them yesterday asking if I would do a Reverse Mortgage for them today. When I told them my price he said he would get approval from title and call me back. Well he didn't call back until today. I said no because he searched for a cheaper closer before calling me back. My price is not unreasonable.

OMG, Misty is so right! They do that to me too, but I don't care. When they call me back I tell them that the $$ amt is increased now and we have a good laugh-- leaving it at what they got approved. What matters is: they called you back w/your price. And, I don't think they continue the search after contracting with you, which we have all read some companies appear to do.

Pay within 30 days. A little TOO much hand holding....they want you to call several times and if you don't they call you.

I have always liked them - meet my fee, pay quickly and as for the hand-holding: some. I have found that the best way to head them off at the pass is to TELL them that I will email status to all and make 1 phone call - who gets it? Then, shoot them status email when I leave for closing advising of: pkg printed ok, on my way, returning via FedEx #----. I think any business holds your hand when/because you don't (not you personal, singular; but plural) keep them advised. Since I do this with everyone as a matter of course simply because people 'want to know' and appreciate this, I don't find it troublesome.

I've been trying to get Mortgage Signers on that list. They paid real quick. The check was dated the night of the signing and they must have mailed it the next day. Real personable and easy to talk with.
