Non payment issues

Jusy FYI - I have notaries contacting me looking for payment on invoices from sept and oct 2007. Why do they wait so long to see why they have not been paid??? We pay every two weeks and have no outstanding invoices from March at this point. So before everyone blasts the SS for non-payment of invoices, but some notaries just are not good bookkeepers.

I had one today who contacted my lender for non-payment of invoice 6 months old. She never called me, emailed me or faxed before today to complain about lack of payment. Needlesss to say, she cashed the check 6 months ago. I know there are legitimate complaints about slow-payers and non-payers, but don't assume all SS are the same. Thanks for listening.

So sorry Gina had to defend herself. I have worked with her & their company is great. I was even paid a full fee for a signing that went bad & I was accused of misconduct by the broker.
Gina is a real pro! Not all SS are crooks. There are a number that I work with regularly--because they are professionals. It's time that some notaries look at their side of the responsibility, instead of being quick to blame & blast!

I agree both Gina and James have never ever been late with any of my payment. They simply are the BEST. Sorry to hear that you had to deal with a bad notary. I know there are them out there too. In my book you should always call the SS ot Title for late payments first every time. I hope you called the Notary and told her what you found out.
