Notary Connection

Is anyone else having trouble getting paid from Notary Connection? Everytime I call to inquire about my check they tell me that the owner is out of town. My invoices are now ninenty days past due and i keep getting the run around. Their website says that they normally pay two to three weeks after the signing.

Hope it helps. It's the last email I received from new owner, Bobby (an FYI - did receive 1 check from him on 3/29, that did not bounce, paying for 12/07 signing; there's still 2 invoices due) :

Notary Connection is another dead beat SS put them on your do not sign for list next to SOX.
They owe me for a signing from Jan. They will not pay, Bobby said he would pay me in 7 days that was on March 25. I will be taking them to small claims in May.

I got paid by Notary Connection-here is what I did

I sent a demand letter. I said I would be filling in small claims against Gloria Mar (the lady that called and hired me) on such and such a date and would also be adding a 50.00 late fee on that date....it obviously got someone nervous. I got a phone call telling me that the check was being sent. I got it about a week ago and deposited it-and have not heard of it bouncing! Good Luck-get tough!!

they owe me 535.00 I have been trying to collect for months now..I used to work for them a lot and then in March/April I did 5 signings in 2 weeks and have never seen a dime...Mr Bobby never returns calls and yesterday I spoke with Gloria and she asked if Bobby can pay me 50.00 a week. I said I am not agreeing to anything until it is in writing

Looks like I'm another victim of Notary Connection. I worked for them in August 2007 and after numerous invoices, phone calls, emails and collection letters I still have never received a response. This sucks!
