Well, they are one of my favorites here in Hawaii. They are a huge, national company. I think basically most title companies are the same as I processed and underwrote loans for 15 years.

If you are working directly with a title company you should be fine, however, you usually don't get paid if the loan rescinds. You are paid on the HUD and directly from them so they cannot pay if the loan does not close. Just FYI.

I have not worked for them since moving to Vermont 4 years ago, but did in California. I had no problems with them.

Got an email from them today. They are looking for notaries and are lowering their fees.

We have new pricing
$85 1st mtg e-docs $70 heloc e-docs $50 no sign/no show fee.
If you are interested, please fill out the vendor packet and email it back or fax it back to us at....

Yeah, I got that, too. I think I'll take a pass on that one. Too bad... I'd always found them good to work with in the past.
