I have comcast email and need to use a program for the email instead of logging on to comcast.net all the time. Curious which of the three is best to use. I also have gmail for personal email, and yes i love it also, but comcast is what all business associates have.

There are many, many email clients around. Some are professional grade, e.g. Lotus Notes/Domino, and some are full featured personal clients, e.g. Eudora (no longer available). Thunderbird (Mozilla) [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/] has come a long way in the past year with a personal email client. And it's free! Eudora, originally developed by Qualcomm, is being redeveloped in concert with Thunderbird as an "open source" application.

I don't/won't use Outlook or Windows Mail (by MickeySoft) because of all the hacking that goes on with them. Outlook contact lists are often and fairly easily exploited for spamming and DOS (denial of service) purposes.

Hi Paw:

Its great to hear from a fellow Jersey Boy! Thanks for the advice I greatly appreciate it. I havent looked into the email clients you mentioned, but will be doing so immediately after sending this message. Is there any that you are aware of that you can have more then one email account going at the same time instead of having to switch between them or not having to have all of them meshed together? as in having seperate inboxes for each, sent boxes for each but being able to have them both up at the same time instead of having to go thru accounts? OK im not sure if articulated that well or explain that question well, if you need I will try and rephrase it.

Thanks you the best PAW!

God bless!

I've got yahoo, not used for business, but I've got several account names although I can't seem to be able to open more than one at a time. I would probably have to log twice to get two or more windows to open, and I don't see the need for such a thing. I'm curious, why.?

I use outlook and to my knowledge have not had any issues.

I also have comcast and I can log in under my primary account and see both my personal and work emails through the mailbox manager.
