I set this signing up on 2/18/08 with Gigi- I delivered my baby on 2/27/08 c-section. I made it a point to clear my billing on the 25th, with the help of a niece and this was mistakenly marked invoice paid. Her first request for payment was on 03/27/08, and she did not send a second email until 4/1. Between 02/26/08 and May 1st 08. I only checked my email periodically and I replied as soon I saw her emails (4/1) . This notary was paid.

I completely understand her frustration and do not blame her for being frustrated, but I want to clear the record.

Wow, that's no way to do business

I can understand the mistakenly marked paid invoice.
What I don't understand, is

<<<Her first request for payment was on 03/27/08, and she did not send a second email until 4/1.>>>>

So 5 days is too long to wait for a second request? LOL

<<<Between 02/26/08 and May 1st 08. I only checked my email periodically and I replied as soon I saw her emails (4/1)>>>>>

For over 2 months you only checked your email periodically and didn't notice this particular invoice until May?

Take care of business. These are the reasons why some us won't work for agencies...business is not exactly the first priority, in many cases, like yours, it's more like a hobby.

Re: Wow, that's no way to do business

I am not blaming her for not asking for 5 days. I provided her a cell # so that she could reach me. I did not get a call once. Or I would have sent her payment then, I had no idea she had not been paid until she called me! and ....... Yes, I only checked periodically from March through May because I had a baby, and I stopped taking signings. That is a whole nother topic.

I am a notary myself and I know that alot of companies do not pay, further I have had a few signings where if the Loan Officer complains about the notary that goes to the signing, for something as basic as the notary made a face about the Rate!. Then the signing is NOT paid. I still have to pay the notary regardless I have taken 3 losses in the last 2 months for complaints on Notaries.

I posted the no pay in April where have you been?? If you haven't checked your calander it is the end of June. I was paid for this signing however 65 + days is not acceptable, I have children to feed too. Maybe try a diffrent hobby.
PS You promised to pay as soon as I sent you a confirmation that the signing was complete, the same day as you asigned the loan what happened?
